UDCC Forum VI: Digital Autonomy

UDCC Forum VI: Digital Autonomy In-Person

UDCC Forum: Digital Autonomy

Digital autonomy is an increasingly immediate issue for people at knowledge organisations working to build more resilient and sustainable infrastructure for research. Following the recent publication of an open letter to UU's executive board, conversations on this topic are evolving to determine next steps in achieving this goal. Therefore, the UDCC Forum will hold a special panel discussion on the morning of June 24 to surface paths to digital autonomy.

The session, chaired by André van Kooij from the Centre for Digital Humanities, will bring together experts and practitioners in research support to envision strategies for realising systems and tools that are governed democratically.

The UDCC Forum meets monthly at different locations across UU, bringing together colleagues interested in digital competencies. Each session consists of two parts, an open agenda for sharing work followed by a deep dive into a specific topic.

The UDCC forum is followed by lunch, please register for catering purposes.

The UDCC connects research support teams across UU, whether in faculties, ITS, or the library, to collectively strengthen research data, software, and infrastructure support.

We hope to see you there!
