Distributed Computing In-Person

The Parallel programming in Python workshop gets you up to speed with parallellizing your Python code on a single compute node (e.g. with 16 or 128 CPU cores). If you wish to distribute work accross multiple compute nodes then this workshop is for you!

MPI (Message Passing Interface) is the standard for writing parallel code where communication is necessary between parallel processes.

In this workshop you will learn the basics of writing an MPI-parallelized code using Python or Fortran.
